Tensioning Machine Maintenance Procedures

I. When using the tensioner daily, the following checks must be performed: 1) Check the levels and quality of fuel oil, lubricating oil, and hydraulic oil. 2) Inspect the operational performance and gear-shifting conditions of the internal combustion engine, transmission mechanism, and actuator, as well as the set positions of the variable mechanisms. 3) Verify the reliability of the parking brake. 4) Check the sensitivity and accuracy of the instruments. 5) Inspect the pressures of the engine oil, replenishing oil, and brake fluid. 6) Examine the anchoring condition of the machine body and its grounding status. 7) Check the pressure-holding performance of the tensioner’s tension control valve (relief valve). The tensioner’s tension control valve should be cleaned and inspected regularly. II. When transporting the tensioner over short distances, it can be towed. The towing speed must meet the following requirements: On flat roads, the speed shall not exceed 30 km/h; on uneven roads, the speed shall not exceed 15 km/h. Additionally, before transportation, the roads and bridges should be inspected, and if necessary, repaired or reinforced. Furthermore, all movable components on the machine body must be temporarily secured. Therefore, lifting should be done using the lifting rings (holes) provided on the machine body.
